Purpose and Mission Statement

International Missions Projects exists to develop and involve interested persons in various international missions projects. These involve arranging ministry trips for a wide variety of kinds of ministry opportunities. Also IMP is working on projects to provide inexpensive shallow well water pumps for remote areas where no fuel is available except for solar heat and computers for schools in Africa and the Caribbean.

Opportunities and Options

There are several pages which can be accessed at the pleasure of the site visitor. An effort will be made  to keep the news and prayer pages reasonably current .

The page listing missions trips and ministry team activities will list trips and activities scheduled from one month and out to 8 to 12 months in the future. It is hoped that this will give optimum opportunity for interested individuals and group leaders to contact each other and determine whether they will coordinate efforts.

Organization

IMP is managed and maintained by Dr. Ruben Schwieger, a former missionary with the Church of God, who with his wife Jenny (both MK's - Kenya and Barbados/Panama) served in Kenya and Japan. Ruben also served in Ghana. Both have directed multiple workcamps and missions trips both as a team and singly. They are committed to continued and effective support of international missions efforts.
